SUREPulse
Data processing and analysis
I wrote most of this java application while working for REL. In August 2015, me and a coworker made the decision to replace the existing data analysis software with a whole new one. It's heavily used internally by REL and used by the public. It is open source, the code can be found here.
Pose
Facebook Messenger Photo Booth
I built Pose in a few weeks in my free time and delivered a prototype to a coffee shop. Used AWS services for the first time. Very cool to see it all work together.
Freelance Software Work
Python scripts and web apps
I began Freelancing in my spare time in December 2016. Within a month, I had completed two fixed price jobs and began an hourly job working on a python web application using Google Cloud Platform. I found the work through Upwork, check out my profile.
Sorting Hat
Team sorting for professors
We built Sorting Hat in the Spring 2016 semester in Team Software. The project and name were ideas of mine that were accepted by my teammates. I implemented a genetic algorithm to sort the teams and worked with C# MVC for the first time.
SURE-Jet
Industrial controls
I wrote an HMI for an industrial waterjet in C# while working for REL. The C# application sent commands to a trio motion controller to control the motion and the water. It's been used daily since September 2015.
FitLapse
Fitness transformation recorder
I built a fitness recording station that I used daily for several months. Unfortunately I did not go through a transformation. The user simply steps on a scale and a raspberry pi takes a picture and records the weight. I delivered two prototypes to friends who were trying to lose weight.
